HDK® N20D

Synthetic, hydrophobic, amorphous silica, produced via flame hydrolysis. Acts as a thickening, and thixotropic agent in many organic systems, eg. in unsaturated polyesters, coatings, and printing inks. Possesses high purity. Provides an increased bulk density, a faster incorporation, but a slightly reduced thickening activity.
