Surfactol® 318 by aurorium is a non-ionic surfactant based on the addition of ethylene oxide to the hydroxyl groups in castor oil. Acts as a defoamer, emulsifier, wetting and anti-static agent. Shows dispersibility or complete solubility of the product. It is ideal for low-foaming oil/ water emulsions. It utilizes the properties of castor oil such as lubricity, penetration, pigment wetting and dye enhancement in water-based systems. Shows compatibility with urethane intermediate, polymers, polyester and acrylic resin. Surfactol® 318 is recommended for coatings and inks applications.
