Troykyd® D12 by Troy Corporation (Arxada) is a highly efficient, defoamer. It provides easy incorporation into viscous materials and for applications where only low shear mixing is available. It is readily dispersible and eliminates entrapped air, evolved gases as well as moisture vapor in the coating, thereby providing a film which is free of surface defects. Troykyd® D12 is used for acrylic and styrene-acrylic polymer systems.
