VOC-free benzoisothiazolinone. Used as an in can preservative and bactericide in paints and lacquers. Offers compatibility with water reducible resins and aqueous polymer emulsions such as pure acrylic, styrene acrylic, polyvinyl acetate and copolymers, vinyl acetate-ethylene pressure polymers, casein, starch and starch derivatives. Its use level is 0.05-0.2%.
