TITANOS PRT-984

TITANOS PRT-984 by Titanos is a tetra-alkyl ammonium bentonite (organoclay) suitable for solvent-based systems of low to medium polarity. Shows high gelling efficiency over low to medium polarity organic liquids, especially in aliphatic & aromatic solvent and their compounds. Exhibits consistent rheology & thixotropy development, excellent sag resistance and viscosity control. Produces gel with light color and high transparency. TITANOS PRT-984 is designed for acrylic & wooden paint, varnish, alkyd paints, mineral oil & nitro inks, anti-corrosion paint, chlorinated rubber paint, and primer paint. Other applications include polyester paint, road paint and silica paint. Recommended dosage ranges from 0.2%-2.0% of total formulation weight.
