TITANOS PRT-983

TITANOS PRT-983 by Titanos is tetra-alkyl ammonium bentonite (organoclay) suitable for solvent-based systems of low to medium polarity. Shows high gelling efficiency over low to medium polarity organic liquids, especially in aromatic compounds. Exhibits thixotropy & anti-sediment property, high viscosity and excellent thickening property over a wide temperature range. Imparts particle suspension & prevents hard settling of pigment and fillers. TITANOS PRT-983 is designed for acrylic, alkyd & primer paint, baking & bituminous paints, chlorinated rubber and polyester paints, anti-corrosion and road paints. Recommended dosage ranges from 0.2%-2.0% of total formulation weight.
