Tifynol 585

Tifynol 585 by Titanos is a non-toxic, alkylphenol ethoxylate (APEO)-free, soluble, non-ionic ethoxylated acetylenic diol. Acts as a low foam wetting agent designed for water-based systems. Offers zero volatile organic compound (VOC), low-foam dynamic surface tension reduction and enhances rapid penetration of absorbent substrates. Improves wetting of low-energy or contaminated substrates & increases hydrophilicity and solubility. Applications include automotive OEM paints, photogravure & ink-jet inks, coatings for industrial, wood, PTFE, paper and plastic, over print varnishes and emulsions. Recommended dosage of Tifynol 585 ranges from 0.2 to 2.0%.
