TOYNOL® S-184

Multi-branched alcohol modified surfactant. Acts as a low-foam wetting agent. It improves the ability to wet various substrates under dynamic conditions and has low static and dynamic surface tension. It enhances flow and leveling and does not cause foaming. It is a non-ionic, clear, pale yellow, non-toxic, silicone-free, oil-free and APEO-free water soluble liquid. Applications include water-borne inks, water-based varnishes, paper coatings and textile coatings. The optimal concentration ranges between 0.3% to 1.0% by weight. If agglomerated during transportation, heat the hot spots with modest agitation to recover.
