ACTICIDE® MKN 6

ACTICIDE® MKN 6 by Thor is a water-based dry film biocide for the control of fungal and algal species. Acts as an industrial microbiocide. It is a mixture of 3-iodo-2-propynyl butylcarbamate (9.0%), 2-N-octyl-4-isothiazolin-3-one (5.0%) and zinc 2-pyridinethiol-1-oxide (4.5%). Used in inks & dyes and paper as well as wood coatings (stains). It incorporates novel AMME™ technology to give significantly improved resistance against alkaline pH, UV and leaching for better long term stability and efficacy. The recommended dosage level of ACTICIDE® MKN 6 is 0.3-2.0% for inks & paper coatings and 0.5-2.0% for wood coatings.
