ACTICIDE® LA 1209

ACTICIDE® LA 1209 by Thor is an industrial microbiocide, algicide and fungicide. It is a mixture of 5–chloro–2–methyl–4–isothiazolin–3–one (0.85%) and 2–methyl–4–isothiazolin–3–one (0.28%) and 2-bromo-2-nitropropane-1, 3-diol (8.80%). It controls the growth of bacteria and fungi. Suitable for flexographic, gravure, screen and printing inks. The recommended dosage for inks is 0.1-1.0% on a total weight basis, 320-2400 ppm for electrodeposition paints and 5.5-660 ppm for wood, paper & architectural coatings. ACTICIDE® LA 1209 is used in electrodeposition paints, architectural finishes, paper and wood coatings.
