HXA UV-1977

Blend of N,N’,N’’,N’’’-tetrakis(4,6-bis(butyl-(N-methyl-2,2,6,6-tetramethylpiperidin-4-yl)amino)triazin-2-yl)-4,7-diazadecane-1,10-diamine and bis(2,2,6,6,-tetramethyl-4-piperidinyl) decanedioate. It belongs to the family of high formula weight sterically hindered amine light stabilizers with good migration resistance and low volatility. HXA UV-1977 provides outstanding light stability to many polymers and, in addition, gives long-term heat stability to polymers by radical trapping mechanism similar to that of hinder phenol. Its effectiveness can be greatly enhanced by co-addition of UV absorbers or nickel-containing stabilizers.
