TEGO® Foamex 830

TEGO® Foamex 830 by Evonik is a silicone- and solvent-free, defoamer concentrate based on organic polymer technology. It contains fumed silica. It is highly compatible and minimizes risk of surface defects. It is suitable for binder-free and binder-containing pigmented concentrates. It prevents foam formation during production and application of waterborne coatings and printing inks. It destroys pre-existing foam and prevents air occlusions. It possesses the greatest possible effectiveness and compatibility especially when added to the let-down and in clear coats, owing to their optimized particle size. It is applicable in pure acrylic emulsion, styrene acrylic emulsion, vinyl and EVA emulsions, PU dispersions and hybrid systems. TEGO® Foamex 830 is used for waterborne formulations in pigment concentrates, car OEM and refinish coatings, industrial coatings, wood- and furniture coatings, printing inks and (overprint) varnishes.
