STEPCOTE® W-888

STEPCOTE® W-888 by Stepan Company is a VOC- (25%) & APE-free, effective wetting agent for use in waterborne coatings. It can reduce rust and minimize blistering. It significantly improves corrosion resistance, gloss and color acceptance. STEPCOTE® W-888 enhances hiding and wet scrub resistance. This additive possesses the ability to heighten coating durability. It can be incorporated during the letdown phase of production or post added to the final formulation. The typical usage level is 2-6 lbs/100 gallons based on active content. It is designed for industrial coating applications.
