STEPCOTE® W-839

STEPCOTE® W-839 by Stepan Company is a VOC- (<1%) and APE-free, effective wetting agent for use in waterborne coatings. It significantly improves high temperature block resistance and enhances gloss. Whereas, moderately improves color acceptance and hiding properties. It can be incorporated during the letdown phase of production or post added to the final formulation. The typical usage level for STEPCOTE® W-839 is 2-6 lbs/100 gallons based on active content. It is suitable for industrial coating applications.
