Permutex® XR-5580 by Stahl is polycarbodiimide crosslinker. It possesses 2-stage extra reactivity for optimum resistance properties. It offers rapid curing, high crosslink density and good anti-blocking properties. It provides increased strength, hardness, adhesion, long pot life and chemical resistance. It is used in elastomer coatings. Recommended dosage level of 4-10%. Permutex® XR-5580 contains methoxy propyl acetate as solvent.
