Rhodoline® OTE-500

APE-free and solvent-free humectant. Extends open time, exhibits excellent dispersion stability, enables to design low to zero VOC coating formulations. Allows formulation of eco-label compliant coatings. Enhances the gloss, boosts the stain resistance, improves the scrub resistance and exhibits freeze-thaw stability. It works in all sheen: high gloss, semi-gloss, satin and flat (matte). Offers better stain resistance to hydrophobic stains. Also improves the open time for these resin systems all-acrylic copolymer, styrene-acrylic copolymer (S/A), vinyl acetate / acrylic copolymer (V/AC), vinyl acetate / ethylene copolymer (EVA) and water-based alkyd paints. Offers excellent extension of open time for latex binders with low Tg and low/zero VOC waterborne paints. It can be utilized in various formulations from low to high sheen coating applications. In addition it has been observed that this improvement can be extended to most paint formulations.
