Polymist® F5A EX by Syensqo is micronized PTFE based abrasion resisting agent. It is composed of discrete particles. It is also non-hygroscopic and can be used over a wide temperature range from -190°C to 250°C. Offers better wear resistance, reduced friction, improved stick-slip response, improved mold release and increased pressure-velocity limits. Polymist® F5A EX is recommended for aircraft coatings (i.e. fuselage, wings), building and construction (metal curtain walls, siding, roofing, gutters, window, door trim, wood siding and decking), protective industrial and marine coatings, processing equipment, electrical and electronics, cookware and bakeware. Can also be used in lithographic, gravure and flexographic inks, toners, overprint varnishes, packaging coatings and aluminum can coatings.
