Blanc Fixe N (Solvay)

Blanc Fixe N by Solvay is a pure barium sulphate (= 97.0 %). Acts as an extender. It is a crystalline powder in appearance. Exhibits narrow particle size distribution, white index, chemical purity, excellent dispersion properties, very high gloss, low binder demand, extremely low chloride content and greatly reduced electric conductivity. Also exhibits water-, acid-, alkali-, organic solvent-, light- and industrial waste gases (e.g. sulfur dioxide) resistance. Suitable for industrial and professional paints & coatings.
