Silmer® OH Di-50

Silmer® OH Di-50 by Siltech is linear di-functional silicone prepolymer with reactive hydroxyl terminal end groups. Offers better slip, anti-blocking, mar resistance, surface smoothness, flexibility and hydrophobicity. It is compatible with polymers that contain reactive groups and systems such as epoxide, carboxylic acid, esters and isocyanates. It is used to modify various polymers in order to improve their surface and physical properties. It can be co-reacted into various polymers for coatings. The hydroxyl functionality gives permanent binding into the matrix of polymers. Typical usage level is between 1.0-3.0%. Silmer® OH Di-50 can be stored for 36 months from the date of manufacture. It is listed with TSCA, DSL, AICS, IECSC, ENCS, KECI and TCSI inventories.
