Hydrated magnesium silicate. Acts as a filler. It offers high quality, whiteness and low impurity. Exhibits low oil absorption ensuring low binder and solvent demand. A low carbonate content provides durability and acid resistance. The lamellar particle shape affords barrier and crack-bridging properties which ensures corrosion protection. Used in matt emulsion paints, alkyd primers and wood- & powder- coatings.
