KR-519 by Shin-Etsu is a mercapto/methyl siloxane chain type, multifunctional silane coupling agent. It contains methacryloxy/methyl functional group. It is partially hydrolyzed condensate. It exhibits film-forming property and weatherability. It can be used effectively in high-temperature conditions at low dosage due to low volatile content. KR-519 can be used in coatings and paints.
