KP-126 by Shin-Etsu is a high molecular weight, polysiloxane-based release agent. It is recommended for paints and coatings for surface modification and to prevent defects. It shows low surface tension, surface migration and controlled length of siloxane chains. KP-126 exhibits reduced coefficient of friction. It is used in water-based coatings. It is listed in TSCA. The dosage level of the grade is 0.2-10.0%.
