KP-105 by Shin-Etsu acts as a leveling agent. It is a medium molecular weight, polyol modified polysiloxane. It is used in solvent-based paints and coatings for surface modification and to prevent defects. It shows low surface tension and surface migration. KP-105 provides improved flow, smoother coating surface and improved slip, wetting & spreading. The dosage level of the grade is 0.005-10.0%.
