S-413

S-413 (Old name: LoAngle 5413) by Shamrock a synthetic wax showing multiple melting peaks ranging from 107 – 142°C. Acts as a slip control agent, release and gelling agent. Provides slip (low COF), release properties and scotch tape test. S-413 by Shamrock is used in both the ink and coating industry. S-413 is recommended for offset inks, powder coatings, wood coatings, water-based, solvent-based and UV systems at 1-3% of total formula weight. It meets the requirements of 21 CFR 175.105, 175.300, 176.170, and 176.180.
