S-232-N1

S-232-N1 by Shamrock is a synthetic and carnauba wax alloy showing melting peaks ranging from 84 – 110°C. Acts as a slip control agent, abrasion resistance- and wet rub resistance agent. Provides gloss, matting, clarity, controlled slip, rub and abrasion resistance properties. S-232-N1 by Shamrock is used in water-based inks. It is also recommended for all clear OPV, water-based, solvent-based, and UV coatings at 1-3% of the total formula weight. It meets the requirements of 21 CFR 172.888, 175.105, 175.300, 175.320, 176.170, 176.180, and 178.3720.
