AquaFLON® 605

AquaFLON® 605 by Shamrock Technologies is a blend of spherical synthetic wax and polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) in a stable aqueous dispersion. Acts as a slip control agent and abrasion resistance agent. Provides anti-marking, ease of incorporation, good slip, scratch and abrasion resistance properties. It is designed for stability, pourability and easy incorporation into water based systems. AquaFLON® 605 is most suitable for thin film applications and clear overprint varnishes. It is recommended for a wide variety of speciality applications in inks and coatings. Its recommended dosage rate is 1-5% solids to the total formula weight. It meets the requirements of 21 CFR 175.105, 175.300, 176.170 and 176.180.
