SCHWEGO® inhibitor 6818

SCHWEGO® inhibitor 6818 is a mixture of organic substances by Schwegmann. It acts as a long term corrosion protection agent. It provides very good solvent stability. It exhibits good adhesion and good penetration into the residual rust particles resulting in passivation of rust on steel. It is recommended for water-based coating systems, anticorrosive primers, one-coat anticorrosive systems and maintenance finishes. It is recoatable with most current coating systems. Recommended dosage level of SCHWEGO® inhibitor 6818 grade is 3.0-5.0%.
