Valida S231C, 3% by Sappi is a bio-based, biodegradable multifunctional stabilizer. It is a pre-hydrated, readily dispersible, fibrillated cellulose in water suspension. It is derived from wood pulp sourced from sustainable managed forests. It offers unique rheological and physical properties in water-borne coatings and inks.
  • It has a high surface area and an insoluble 3D network which allows stabilization at low viscosity while providing shear thinning & thixotropic properties.
  • It possesses water retention property which allows anti-mud cracking in elastomeric roof coatings.
  • It imparts minimal thickening, reduced dirt pick-up, improved sprayability, and improved tensile strength with maintained elongation.
  • Valida S231C, 3% has shelf life of 24 months.
