PQ Corporation Silica
Gasil® HY600 by PQ Corporation is a synthetic, amorphous silica-based matting agent. It exhibits high efficiency in matt waterborne formulations. It helps in obtaining finishes of superior appearance & transparency, better rheology and storage stability. Shows excellent compatibility with pseudoplastic PU thickeners in lacquers. It offers gloss reduction as well as excellent scratch-, abrasion-, mar-, water and stain resistance. Gasil® HY600 is suitable for use in wood-, plastic-, industrial coatings and overprint varnishes. It is registered with REACH, TSCA, AICS and DSL/NDSL.
