PUREti™ TEAT

PUREti™ TEAT by Polygel is a solution of bis(triethanolamine) titanium di-iso-propoxide in isopropanol. Acts as a crosslinking agent for hydroxylic compounds and as a cure catalyst. The triethanolamine ligands confer increased hydrolytic stability on the titanium center. PUREti™ TEAT rate of hydrolysis is dependent on the pH of the system to which the titanate is added. It can be used on coils for temporary protection and water-based thin coating. It is used in sol-gel coatings, zinc rich primer or sealer coatings.
