4, 5-Dichloro-2-n-octyl-isothiazolin-3-one. Acts as a highly effective fungicide and algicide. It easily incorporates into water-based or solvent-based formulations. Has good stability with ionic surfactants and emulsifiers. Used for printing inks and paints. Its ideal usage level is between 0.1-0.5% based on the active.
