Masurf® UV-150

Masurf® UV-150 by Pilot Chemical is a self-emulsible ultraviolet light absorber for aqueous systems, designed to impart UV protection. Utilizing proven benzotriazole UV chemistry with Mason StayClean™ advanced micro-emulsion technology, Masurf® UV-150 is easy to use and highly efficient. It is readily micro-emulsible in cold water with minimal stirring, creating very stable, clear, small particle size (<50nm) micro-emulsions for uniform dispersion and coverage. It is suitable for non-ionic, anionic, amphoteric and weakly cationic systems. It is non-flammable and does not contain or release ozone depleting chlorofluorocarbons (CFCs), alkylphenol ethoxylates (APE’s), and does not release formaldehyde. Used in paints and coatings. Masurf® UV-150 is pre-registered in REACH. It is listed on AICS, DSL, IECSC, EINECS, ENCS, PICCS, TSCA, ECL and New Zealand Inventory.
