Calfax®
Coatings ingredients supplied by Pilot chemicals
Calfax® disulfonates and disulfonic acids are efficient anionic emulsifying and wetting agents. They have great electrolyte, temperature and hard water stability. They can be used as a sole surfactant or with other surfactants. These additives provide unsurpassed low critical micelle concentrations which aid in consistent particle size and distribution.
Calfax® additives are low foaming and extremely stable in harsh environments. They also have good compatibility with phosphate ester and non-ionic surfactants.
All Calfax® products are VOC free, CFR 21 approved and do not contain any halogenated solvents. They are a perfect choice for APEO-free paints, coatings and inks formulations.
