Teknotex AM 300 by Pidilite Industries is a polymer-based antimicrobial agent that uses delivery system to transport and secure the silver ions to a treated article. It is a clear and non-tacky solution that is easy to dilute, dose formulate and apply. It controls the release of the silver to avoid discoloration and early exhaustion typical of other silver products. When incorporated into industrial and household materials during the manufacturing process, it inhibits the growth of microbes to offer protection, durability and freshness. It is compatible with a wide range of chemicals, including polymer resins (like PVA, SBR, EVA) and finishing agents (like anti-wrinkle resins, fluorocarbons, and softeners). It offers improved durability, long term efficacy, improved cost-to-treat and broad-spectrum activity and controls various odor-causing microorganisms. Teknotex AM 300 displays color stability, improved product quality and appearance, thermal stability and high tolerance in manufacturing. It maintains aesthetics of the fabric. It can be applied by both pad and exhaustion process. The shelf life of this product is 6 months.
