Pidicryl® 790 by Pidilite Industries is hydrophobically modified alkali swellable emulsion (HASE) thickener. Offers excellent stability and reduced tendency of spatter. Provides excellent sag resistance without compromising flow and leveling. It is widely used in latex paint formulation. Pidicryl® 790 is mostly recommended in high PVC formulation as partial replacement of cellulose thickener. The dosage level of the grade varies from 0.1-2.0% depending on the formulation.
