PPA - 7558

Phenalkamine. Acts as a mannich based epoxy hardener or curing agent. Shows ability to resist moisture while curing and also exhibit rapid cure even at low temperatures similar to other phenalkamines. It is a reaction product of distilled cashew nutshell liquid and polyamine. PPA - 7558 is specially developed for primer for concrete surfaces and potable water contact. Very good compatibility with epoxy resin based on bis - phenol a, bis - phenol F as well as phenolic novolacs. Has excellent rapid cure even at low temperatures, excellent curing under humid as well as damp conditions and superior corrosion resistance. Also has a workable pot life at lower temperatures, low viscosity, non critical mixing ratio and good chemical, solvent as well as water resistance. Used in medium to high solid coatings, surface tolerant primers for metallic substrate, tank lining, construction and industrial, flooring as well as marine coatings applications.
