Omyamatt 100 by Omya is a modified calcium carbonate-based matting agent for emulsion paints. It contributes to opacity, improves wet scrub- and burnish resistance as well as roughness and waviness. It has no effect on color tinting. It provides good powder flowability for easy bulk handling. Omya offers supply reliability and high product consistency. Omyamatt 100 has an optimized design of particle shape, morphology and controlled particle size distribution. It is a non-silica based matting agent making it an ideal, eco-friendly material due to low carbon footprint.
