Octa-Soligen® 27

Cobalt, calcium and zirconium carboxylates in mixture dissolved in white-spirit containing less than 1% aromatics. Acts as a combination drier. The composition yields an ideal synergy between the metals. Cobalt ensures rapid surface drying whereas zirconium, a secondary drier, promotes through-drying. Calcium stabilizes the drying power and develops a synergy with the other metals. The combined action of these different metals ensures uniform drying which improves the hardness of the paint film. It is entirely stable and can be used in medium-oil and long-oil resins. Recommended for solvent borne systems. Application includes wood and general industrial coatings. Dosage rate lies within 4 and 6 %, calculated on the solid binder and depending on the binder and pigments used in the formulation.
