Octa-Soligen® 145 S

Cobalt, calcium and zirconium carboxylates in mixture dissolved in white-spirit less than 1% aromatics. Acts as a combination drier. The synergy between the different metals ensures uniform drying of the paint film. The primary drier yields optimum surface drying whereas the secondary drier improves through-drying. This improves the hardness of the paint film. Suitable for use in all types of solvent borne system based on medium-oil and long-oil alkyds that dry by oxidation. Application includes wood and general industrial paints. Dosage rate lies within 2.5 and 5.0 %, calculated on the solid binder and depending on the binder and pigments used in the formulation.
