Borchi® Gen 1350

Borchi® Gen 1350 by Borchers is a high molecular weight aqueous solution of an acid polyurethane copolymer. Acts as a wetting- and dispersing agent. Contains no organic solvents and is completely VOC-free. Exhibits excellent wetting and deflocculation properties. Highly effective additive for dispersing and stabilizing of transparent iron oxide pigments as well as organic and other inorganic pigments. Prevents settling and re-flocculation even after prolonged storage of paints and pigment pastes. Due to the small particle size of the deflocculated pigments, excellent color strength, high gloss and transparency are achieved. Compatible with polyurethane, epoxies, acrylate and alkyd resins. Used in water borne and UV curing systems. Borchi® Gen 1350 is especially recommended for high quality wood, decorative and industrial paints as well as aqueous pigment concentrates (including carbon black). The dosage rates are 8-12% for TiO2, 10-20% for inorganic pigments, 25-70% for organic pigments and 50-70% for transparent iron oxide.
