Borchi® Gen 1253

Borchi® Gen 1253 by Borchers is a high molecular weight aqueous solution of an acrylic ester copolymer. Acts as a wetting- and dispersing agent. Contains no organic solvents and is completely VOC-free. Offers excellent wetting and deflocculation properties. Due to the small particle size of the deflocculated pigments, excellent color strength and high gloss are achieved. Also prevents settling and re-flocculation even after prolonged storage of paints and pigment pastes. Reveals high dispersing and stabilizing capability for both organic and inorganic pigments. It is widely compatible in resins and excellent for preparation of aqueous pigment concentrates with and without grinding resin. Compatible with polyurethane, epoxies, alkyd and acrylate resins. Suitable for water borne applications. Borchi® Gen 1253 is recommended for high quality wood, decorative and industrial paints. The dosage rates are 8-12% for titanium dioxide, 10-20% for inorganic pigments and 25-70% for organic pigments.
