Borchers® Dry 0246

Borchers® Dry 0246 by Borchers is a complex of metallic carboxylates with an organic chelating agent dissolved in white-spirit containing less than 2% aromatics. Acts as a cobalt-free combination drier. Exhibits very good drying properties even under extended storage. Provides rapid surface dry. Improves through-drying and hardness of the film and prevents levelling defects. Used as a cobalt siccative replacement for all solvent-borne air-drying alkyd resin, clear- or pigmented coatings, for VOC reduced and high solids coatings systems. Borchers® Dry 0246 recommended dosage is 2.5 - 5.5 % by weight based on solid binder and in pigmented system is 0.1 - 0.3 % by weight metal based on solid binder.
