Borchers® AF 1176

Borchers® AF 1176 by Borchers is a polysiloxane. Acts as a silicone-based defoamer. Exhibits optimum balance between defoaming and compatibility. Possesses high efficiency, low cratering tendency, recoatability and a wide application field. Increases density during manufacturing process and application. Provides homogenous film formation after application. Preferred binders are polyurethane, nitrocellulose, epoxy, and acid-curing coating systems. Designed for use in solvent-borne general industrial coatings, automotive coatings, wood coatings, UV inks and coatings. Borchers® AF 1176 recommended dosage is 0.1 to 0.5 %.
