Borchers® AF 0550

Borchers® AF 0550 by Borchers is a mineral oil. Acts as a silicone-free defoamer/anti-foaming agent. Characterized by good efficiency with less impact on surface integrity. Increases density and provides homogenous film build up. It has limited water solubility. This product can be used in the grind as well as in the let down process. Used in physically drying systems based on styrene, vinyl and straight acrylates. Recommended for water borne emulsion exterior and interior wall paints (with 35-80% PVC), pigment concentrates and plasters. Borchers® AF 0550 recommended dosage rate is 0.05 to 0.50 % by weight.
