Nordkalk W635 by Nordkalk is a wollastonite mineral (white, needle-shaped and naturally occurring calcium silicate mineral with the molecular formula CaSiO3). It is a functional filler improving film strength & gloss control, increasing crack & chip resistance and enhancing adhesion. Its alkaline pH improves resistance to corrosion & weather by preventing pH-downdrift, its hardness increases scrub- & washability and provides high abrasion & scratch resistance. The whiteness of wollastonite improves color/tint retention and decreases the need for pigments. Nordkalk W635 by Nordkalk is suitable for paints & coatings including industrial anti-corrosives, road markings, marine, architectural coatings.
