EPOCROS™ K-2020E

EPOCROS™ K-2020E by Nippon Shokubai is a VOC-free adhesion promoter and a waterborne crosslinking agent based on styrene/acrylic oxazoline functionalized reactive copolymer. It exhibits high reactivity with carboxyl groups and crosslinking reaction at low temperature (80-120°C) with no by-product. Offers film properties, low toxicity, fast drying along with improved water- and heat resistance. It possesses a controllable appearance by adjusting glass transition temperature. It has a long pot life for one packaging. It shows excellent adhesion particularly to polyester such as PET. Recommended for coatings (metals, films, paper, plastics, leather), primer (film, plastics, building materials, automobiles, PVB inks), paints, inks and pigment printing. EPOCROS™ K-2020E is registered with Japan and TSCA (USA) regulations.
