GrafGuard® 210-200N

GrafGuard® 210-200N by NeoGraf Solutions is a non-halogenated expandable graphite flake used as fire-retardant additive in coatings application. Offers controlled surface pH, reduced smoke evolution, highest expansion volume and engineered particle size. It expands upto eight times more than competitive products, exhibiting superior performance even at low temperatures. It is manufactured without lead or chromium and also enables ideal application as an intumescent additive. It forms an effective insulating “char” layer upon exposure to high temperatures. It has onset temperature of 200°C and engineered activation temperatures to meet processing requirements. It is compatible with most catalyst system and high volume manufacturing. Its performance does not degrade with time or environmental exposure. It improves the performance of additives such as phosphates, magnesium hydroxide and nitrogen compounds. Provides a consistent, high performing, environmentally friendly and cost-effective alternative to halogenated fire-retardant additives. It is used when fine particle size is required.
