UV-234 (900) by MPI Chemie is benzotriazole-based UV absorber. It is a high molecular weight grade that imparts good light stability to a variety of polymers. It is suitable for automotive OEM and industrial high-temperature baking coatings, powder- & coil coatings, overprint varnishes over metal, board, paper & laminates and printing & packaging. For outdoor applications, UV-234 (900) needs to be combined with a hindered amine light stabilizer (HALS) such as LS-123 (for acidcatalyzed systems) or LS-292 (for 2K PUR).
