Silquest™ A-2171 Silane

Silquest™ A-2171 Silane by Momentive Performance Materials is vinyl functional silane which is used as a crosslinking agent for organic polymers in coatings. Gives high resistance to exposure to moisture, chemicals and UV. Does not tend to generate color. Offers resistance to environmental factors such as acid rain. Can be used as a monomer in vinyl/acrylic resins. Improves elongation performance of the cured resin. Silquest™ A-2171 Silane provides moisture-initiated crosslinking of resins, improved adhesion, chemical and corrosion resistance, weatherability, pigment dispersion, scrub resistance, release and wetting.
