CoatOSil™ 2818 by Momentive Performance Materials is a mixture of polyethylene oxide (EO), polypropylene oxide (PO) and polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS). Acts as a mar resistance and slip agent. Compatible with many resin systems. CoatOSil™ 2818 has a linear methyl end-capped ABA molecular structure. Designed for coatings for wood, leather goods, industrial and auto refinishing, overprint varnishes and inks. Suitable for solvent-borne, water-borne and UV/ EB cured systems.
